Show Notes

In honor of Pride Month 2020, I present to you two citizens of Holly Springs who happen to be in the LGBTQ community. They're our neighbors and friends, but they don't always get the sort of respect and care that they deserve. Hear their stories here, and resolve to do better. These two are just a small representation of the part of our town that identifies as LGBT or Q, and they're wonderful people to get to know.

View these sobering statistics from The Trevor Project about suicide in LGBTQ teens and young adults. Let's be more accepting of our kids and teens come to us questioning themselves in this way. They deserve it.
